Spartans took over AT&T Stadium, the third-most iconic Spartan Stadion venue and the home of the Dallas Cowboys, this past weekend. In Ohio, racers were treated to a Trifecta weekend at one of the top ATV parks in the state. There was a Trifecta Shield Weekend north of the border, in Canada, and across the pond we held races in China, the Czech Republic, and Germany.
Check out the sights and sounds from another badass weekend on the course.

What better way to spend Father’s Day weekend than running on the same field as the legendary Dallas Cowboys? Racers had the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see themselves crush obstacles on the massive jumbotron, which spans 60 yards and reportedly consists of 30 million lightbulbs. There’s nothing more epic than crossing the finish line in an NFL end zone. Just ask this dude.
“I absolutely love the AT&T Stadion,” racer Lauren Leopard said. “The stadium itself is so fun to get to run in. You see areas of the stadium you would never get to see if you were at a game, including the visitor’s dressing room and getting to get on the field. The race itself is definitely a full-body workout. By the end I could tell every muscle in my body was spent.”

Renegade Ridge ATV Park, a first-time Spartan venue, was an immediate hit. Racers raved about the winding trails, the undulating topography, and the water and mud that took the level of difficulty up a notch. “I completed the Trifecta weekend with Team Oscar Mike!” racer Lara Flynn said. “It was a beautiful venue! I seriously never thought I’d be saying that coming from a person born, raised, and living in Michigan! Even with the hills, I prefer this venue over the mud at the old venue. That sandbag carry was crazy and amazing at the same time!”
Mont-Tremblant, Quebec, Canada // 06.18.22
For the first time since 2015, Spartan returned to beloved Mont-Tremblant for the first (of two) North American Trifecta Shield Weekend of 2022. This weekend’s shield icon was the Owl, and there was actually a great horned owl onsite! It was present at the start line of every Elite heat, as well as the podium ceremonies and the finisher photo tent, where racers were able to snap a photo with the exotic bird.
Nearly 6,000 Spartan Kids came out over two remarkable days in Hangzhou, China. The venue, a massive blueberry field, was transformed into a Spartan course, and racers got to pick blueberries on race day.
“The most amazing thing is that although he was sad, broken, and frustrated, he didn’t give up,” one parent said about her son, who finished the race. “He knows that the heavy things beyond his ability can be completed by asking the other Spartans around him.”
We’ve got three white-hot Stadion race weekends coming your way this summer. Next month, race with the ghosts of the Four Horsemen at iconic Notre Dame Stadium and run on the warning track at Angel Stadium, the fourth-oldest MLB park in the country. Then, in September, tackle obstacles at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, the stunning home of the Phillies. Be there, or it’s the burpee zone.
