Democrats in Congress continue their efforts to disarm law abiding Americans. As usual, they use the pretext of crime, and often times heartbreaking crimes like school shootings, to justify their authoritarian desire to disarm non-criminals.
America has a serious problem. Crime is at record levels in many cities. But left-wing Soros-backed prosecutors let them go to commit more crime. Every weekend there are mass shootings in Chicago, Baltimore, Detroit, St. Louis and other democrat cities. There is a sickness in our country where so many people take guns, knives, cars and use their fists to kill and hurt others. For that reason, self-defense, the right to protect yourself and your family from these criminals, matters more than ever. This week, Congress voted largely along party lines on sweeping, unconstitutional gun control bills that will absolutely do nothing to stop gun violence, but will most certainly give the federal government more power to implement Biden’s gun grab agenda and punish law-abiding gun owners.
The fact is more gun control measures will not solve the issues largely contributing to gun violence, yet it didn’t take long for Joe Biden and House democrats to use the recent tragedies to push for more gun control measures.
They blatantly disparage our God-given and Constitutionally protected right to self-defense. As crime rises to record levels across our country, thanks to democrat socialists who run our major cities, self-defense is more important than ever. Democrats also ignore common-sense measures to protect schools and have pushed legislation to defund school police protection and fought to remove armed police from schools.
This week’s vote on these sweeping, authoritarian gun control laws are a betrayal to the Constitution and an assault on the rights and liberties of law-abiding gun owners and that is why I voted against them. Congress should be focusing on school safety and mental health, not gun control.
Meanwhile, Democrats Threaten Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh—Assassin Acts on their Direction
A California man was arrested this Wednesday outside of the home of Supreme Court Justice Kavanaugh with plans to murder the justice, and the silence from Democrat leaders is deafening.
They, of course, inspired the assassin using violent rhetoric and making irresponsible statements following the leaked memo suggesting the Supreme Court might overturn Roe v Wade.
For example, Senator Chuck Schumertold supporters: “I want to tell you, Gorsuch. I want to tell you, Kavanaugh. You have unleased a whirlwind and you will pay the price. You won’t know what hits you…”
Left-wing Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot tweeted: “To my friends in the LGBTQ community – the Supreme Court is coming for us next. This moment has to be a call to arms.”
The truth is that Biden and democrats are directly responsible for this assassination attempt, excusing and encouraging activists for weeks to target justices and their families at their homes:
May 5: Press Secretary Jen Psaki refused to condemn activists posting the justices’ home addresses online.
May 6: Psaki refused to say if Biden “has a view” on activists harassing justices at their homes.
May 6: Nancy Pelosi called on protesters to actively pressure justices to influence their decisions.
May 8: Pelosi said “the focus” is to influence and change the Supreme Court’s forthcoming decision on Roe v. Wade
May 9: Psaki refused to condemn protests at justices’ homes even though it is against the law.\
Psaki also refused to condemn the doxing of justices’ personal information even as threats of violence grew.
May 10: Psaki downplayed the harassment, claiming protests “have been peaceful to date and we certainly continue to encourage that outside of judges’ homes.”
May 11: Chuck Schumer answered “yes” when asked if he was “comfortable with protests…outside the homes of Supreme Court justices.”
It is illegal to protest at the home of a Supreme Court Justice, yet protesters are still assembled outside the homes of some of the justices yet Merrick Garland, the Attorney General of the United States, refuses to arrest them. Worse, Joe Biden has yet to condemn the attempt on Kavanaugh’s life. Right now, Speaker Pelosi is even holding up a Senate bill that would provide improved security for justices and their families. This bipartisan bill unanimously passed Senate over a month ago.
Garland, Schumer, Biden, Pelosi: they are ALL complicit. It’s past time for Biden and democrats to condemn this violence. Sen. Schumer and other democrats should be ashamed of his violent rhetoric that almost got Justice Kavanaugh assassinated.
Gosar Supports Efforts to Protect Supreme Court Justices
Threatening and endangering government officials and their families is wrong. In response, I recently cosponsored H.R. 7799, the Public Servant Protection Act, legislation to protect all government employees and their families from having their home addresses listed publicly online.
Supreme Court justice and other government officials should not be subjected to angry protests and violent threats at home. This bill will protect public servants and their families by allowing them to remove their home addresses from any public website.
January 6 Show Trial Ignores Real Problems Facing America
As our beloved country suffers from record inflation, crime and food shortages, democrats in Congress are hosting a show trial about January 6, 2021. If you have not heard of the term show trial, it is something that the Soviet Union and China used to do as hard-core communists. The trial is a one-sided farce where only one side gets to speak and participate and the goal is not getting at the truth, but to humiliate and jail your political rivals. The democrats are now basically engaging in classic communist tactics to attack their political opponents using the state functions like prosecutors and trials. This is an unconstitutional and anti-American development. I plan on addressing these serious abuses next Congress when the Republicans take over. Members of Congress who have abused their offices and persecuted Americans should be held accountable and order and liberty restored.
Speaking of this show trial, there is a silly statement being spread by democrat Liz Cheney (daughter of war monger and global interventionist Dick Cheney) that members of the freedom caucus, including me, sought “preemptive pardons” from President Trump in the weeks before January 6. This is a ridiculous and defamatory lie and it is preposterous on its face. There is no such thing as a preemptive pardon. Pardons can only be given after someone is convicted of a crime.
I think Liz Cheney spreads this falsehood because it makes her believe that people knew in advance there would be a riot on January 6. So far there are only a few people who claim to have known there would be violence, and that is the Capitol Police, who told Nancy Pelosi. She denied the request for added security. She denied President Trump’s request for 10,000 additional National Guard. No one told me about possible violence ahead of time. If anyone would need a pardon for knowing about violence ahead of time, we would have to look at those people, not innocent victims. The amount of lies and propaganda coming from this show trial committee is making dictators in Cuba and North Korea blush with envy.
Inflation Is Theft
This week, the Labor Department announced that inflation rose to 8.6% in May, a four-decade high. Triple A announced that the national average price of gasoline in the United States surpassed $5 a gallon this week for first time EVER. And, the Dow fell another 2.73% this week.
Everything costs much more and your 401K is getting wiped out. Rather than find real solutions to get our country back on track, Nancy Pelosi thought it best to hold a sham public hearing more than 500 days after the capitol riots on January 6, 2021. I’m not going to dignify this show trial by spending too much time writing about it but let me suggest that hardworking Americans are struggling and are far more concerned about the economy, inflation, where they can find baby formula, the invasion along the southern border and gas prices than they are about this Hollywood produced stunt.
Good News for Social Security Recipients!
Inflation is a thief that steals from all of us. But it hits people on fixed incomes the hardest. That is why it is good news to see the Cost-of-Living Adjustment (COLA) for 2022 is set at 5.9%, the biggest increase since the left last caused historic inflation during the sad days of Jimmy Carter 40 years ago. Seems there is a trend for democrat presidents to mess up our economy at every opportunity.
While this is good news for social security recipients, it does show that inflation is out of control and harms all of us. I recently paid $125 to fill up the truck in Arizona. That would have been about $42 dollars two years ago.
I want to also note that I have a bill pending that, if passed, would eliminate all income taxes on social security benefits. I introduced the “No Taxation on Social Security Act of 2021” in order to stop our government from unjustly taxing these benefits, benefits you have already been taxed for over the years. As I said last year, “It makes no sense for the federal government to punish senior citizens who saved for retirement or who continue to work. All this does is increase the scope of the federal government and deprive Americans of what they are rightfully entitled to.”

I am quite concerned about the Biden administration’s withholding federal funds from the school lunch program for schools that do not go along with its favored LGBTQ ideology. This is so outrageous and unconstitutional! Please let me know how this is even possible that one group of American is so favored over all the other groups of Americans. The executive branch does not even have this power over the purse constitutionally nor should such a thing even be under consideration by any branch of government. What can to be done to stop this abuse of executive power?
