We got this story yesterday afternoon from the Casa Grande Police: A Casa Grande man was arrested near his home after allegedly threatening to shoot up a local school, a movie theater and a police station. He also allegedly praised the recent school shooting in Texas. We’ll be watching this story and bringing you updates as they become available.
In other crime news, the attorney of a Casa Grande man accused of shooting at another man after a hit and run accident is asking for the victim’s medical and criminal records. The attorney said prosecutors have yet to provide the information. The attorney also said he is waiting for copies of the 911 call and any surveillance video of the incident.
And it’s a bird, it’s a plane … what is that?! A Casa Grande resident caught video of a strange light that changed colors flying near Vista Grande High School in mid-May. Ufologists from the Arizona chapter of the Mutual UFO Network and members of the Casa Grande RC Flyers Club were able to determine that the source of the light was not visitors from outer space.
