The city of Eloy is checking in to see if local hotels are meeting code requirements. The issue was brought to the attention of city officials after they received complaints about the condition of some local hotels.
And the Florence Unified School District is considering options for its sexual education curriculum. Some local parents voiced their own opinions of the various options for the class at a public meeting the board held in May.
Also, check out the painting from the first paint and sip fundraising event held by Relay for Life in Maricopa! They’re really very good. The event was the brainchild of two Maricopa women who wanted to raise funds for the American Cancer Society’s annual event. |
