Did you see the Quinnipiac Poll that came out recently? If you didn’t read the headlines, you’ll want to continue reading this email.
The polling firm found that when asked “What would you do if you were in the same position as Ukrainians are now, stay and fight or leave the country?”
Can you guess what percentage of Democrats said they would cut and run if the U.S. were invaded? 52%
Yep – 52% of Democrats – including grown men – responded that they would flee America rather than stand and defend the country that has given us so much.
How pathetic. Makes me wonder how many Democrats in Congress would have answered in the affirmative if they were polled.
I can tell you one thing first: the day in 2015 that an Islamic terrorist armed with more than 270 rounds of ammunition decided he’d like to blow up a train killing hundreds of civilians, I didn’t waiver; my friends and I identified the threat and neutralized it. We quite literally ran toward a terrorist armed with cans of gasoline on a suicide mission.
What happened to the men of this country – men like George H.W. Bush and Jimmy Carter – who willingly went to war in defense of not only their country, but for Democracy itself?
What has happened to American Democrats in the 75 years since the end of WWII that has led to a majority of them to say that if a foreign force invaded the United States they would cut and run?
I know what I stand for. And I’m willing to die for my freedom and yours any day of the week.
