In more good news, the Pinal County Board of Supervisors is considering cutting local property taxes again. This time they’re eyeing a possible 13-cent cut, which according to county financial experts would still leave the county with a reserve equal to about 20% of the county’s current expenses.
The Casa Grande Police Department brought in a large haul of fentanyl pills with the aid of K9 Deutz. After two Phoenix women were stopped for speeding along Interstate 10, Deutz alerted his handler to possible drugs in the vehicle. Officers uncovered around 500,000 fentanyl pillshidden in supplement bottles in the vehicle. |
