On Saturday, May 14th from 1-4 pm the Museum of Troy History is presenting The History of Hayner Distilling.
This special presentation will start at the St Patrick Soup Kitchen with a slideshow on the history of Hayner Distilling from it’s beginning in 1866 up to the rebirth of Hayner Distilling in 2021.
We will then take a short walking tour of a few Hayner Distilling buildings that are still standing and the foundations of others that have been demolished.
We will conclude the tour inside an historic Hayner barrel house with the opportunity to sample the new Hayner Bourbon and Hayner Rye whiskeys. Non-alcoholic refreshments and snacks will will also be provided.
Tickets to this fundraising event are $30 for one or $50 for 2 tickets.
Please be advised we will be walking over uneven ground and over railroad tracks. The tasting event at the end of the tour does require walking up one flight of steps.
