Traveling on State Route 347 in Maricopa is probably going to get worse before it gets better. The Arizona Department of Transportation announced that it will start lane restrictions on May 2, beginning with the southbound lanes, for roadway improvements scheduled for the next few months.
In other news, a federal judge has ordered a delay in the White House’s plan to lift a pandemic-era boarder policy that prevents asylum seekers from entering the U.S. due to concerns over the spread of COVID 19.
Plus, a challenge to Democratic gubernatorial candidate Aaron Lieberman’s petition signatures to get on the ballot has been withdrawn. Lieberman will now appear on the primary ballot next to other Democratic candidates.
