This country gave my family an opportunity.

• The son of a slave became a sharecropper.
• The son of a sharecropper became a mason.
• The son of a mason became a truck driver.
• And the son of a truck driver stands before you today running for Congress.

At 17, I knew I wanted to serve my country. I graduated from West Point and then led two Apache Platoons in Iraq. After 8 years in the Army, I came home to run the family business and worked hard to create 100 American jobs.

Inflation is a THREAT.

Make no mistake- if we sit idly by and do nothing, the American Dream will not be possible for our children or our children’s children.

I am a product of the American Dream. And I’m willing to bet that you are a product of that dream too. It is our duty to protect it. Can I count on you to stand with me?
