Good morning RJ,
The Arizona Legislature is working through a long list of bills that may end up on Gov. Doug Ducey’s desk.
Ducey has already approved one bill that prohibits government agencies from requiring COVID -19 vaccines and bars schools from requiring masks for students under the age of 18 unless a parent approves.
The Legislature has also approved a bill that would allow parents to sue teachers, school officials and government officials who they believe have “usurped” their right to guide their child’s education.
And two Republicans, Kari Lake and Rep. Mark Finchem, are suing to stop the use of machines in tabulating the vote in the 2022 election. The two candidates, both running for statewide offices, claim that the machines are vulnerable to hacking and that the technology used in them is being kept from the public. |
