Movement of Solidarity for Moms
Under #Unbearable Pressure
West Virginia Moms protested in Washington, DC on Wednesday (read more in The Washington Post and HuffPost). Nationwide we’re coming together to share our solidarity with them. Join us!
CareForAllChildren joined the group of West Virginia moms and 500 teddy bears in Washington, DC.
We were there because lawmakers hadn’t listened to them up to now, and they need to be heard. 50,000 children in West Virginia have been thrown back into poverty since the enhanced Child Tax Credit (CTC) expired in December. There are millions more children nationwide.

Congress must stop ignoring parents’ voices.

Unlike big tech, fossil fuels or other businesses, parents do not have their own lobbying group. And despite some lawmakers on both sides of the aisle recognizing the importance of the CTC—and policies like it—the lack of government action is hurting children and parents nationwide.
WILL YOU JOIN US AND HIGHLIGHT THE #UNBEARABLE STATUS QUO ON YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA?
It’s really easy! You can:

Or even, call your lawmakers and tell them how you feel!

WE NEED YOU to make sure these moms’ efforts—going all the way to DC, taking time off work, leaving their children behind for the day—pay off with real policy change.
