Though the city of Casa Grande approved a number of zoning changes that will pave the way for smaller lot sizes in upcoming neighborhoods, some city officials have been vocal about their concerns as developers’ needs are weighed against the desired look of the community as a whole.
Yesterday we ran this story on how the prison inmate reduction has hurt Florence’s population figures, but as Florence mayor Tara Walter pointed out in her “2021 Virtual State of the Town,” there were other areas of success for Florence in the previous year, including receiving more than $1.5 million in grant funding in the last two years.
With more than 7,000 cases reported on Tuesday, more schools could be facing closures amid COVID-19 outbreaks. And in his fight with public schools over virus policies, Gov.
