Together we can stop the spread of deadly vaccine-preventable diseases (parvovirus, distemper and panleukopenia). Last August, we committed a donation of one million free pet vaccines, and now we are establishing March as Pet Vaccination Month.
And we need your help! You can participate in this national lifesaving effort by distributing free vaccines to family pets in need. We encourage participating organizations to join our national effort to drive awareness of the need for vaccination and host free public vaccine clinics this March.
Our national effort aims to increase the number of vaccinated community pets AND decrease the spread of disease should these pets enter your shelters. Important information for participation:
- We encourage organizations that are able, to host free vaccine clinics this March
- This is a national campaign; we will provide marketing assets
- FREE Vaccines are to be directly administered by your organization to family pets
- Vaccines offered: Canine DAPPv and Feline HCP
- A $3 stipend will be awarded based on administered vaccines (payout upon completion of final report)
- This program is NOT for shelter/foster pets
For almost 10 years, more than 20,000 adopters from across North America have shared stories about how their adopted pets have changed their lives. And the love keeps coming: Petco Love continues to celebrate these real-life love stories, donating $7 million in grant awards to the dedicated organizations that make these lifesaving adoption matches possible.
This year, we celebrated 100 unique Love Stories submitted by adopters across the nation, each depicting how pets change our lives for the better and awarded more than $1 million in grant awards to YOU, the animal welfare organizations that make these adoption matches possible.
Our People’s Choice winners are:
- Emily + Phoebe (Sweet Paws Rescue, Inc.) — $25,000
- Amanda + Charlotte (One Tail At A Time) — $10,000
- Melissa + Oliver (The Animal Pad) — $10,000
- Yvette + Poochie (One Tail At A Time) — $5,000
- Ryan + Clem (Whiskers TNR of Warren County) — $5,000
Our Most Submissions winners are:

- Brooklyn Bridge Animal Welfare Coalition — $10,000
