The Casa Grande RC Flyers will host an event this Saturday to raise money for the Casa Grande Food Bank ahead of the holidays. Though there is no admission charge for the “Food Bank Fly-In,” the event seeks to collect donations of non-perishable food items or cash from those who wish to give. The Coolidge Light parade is one of several holiday events happening this weekend. The annual parade returns to normal after reduced participation last year caused by the pandemic. See the parade route.
Don’t forget! The Ride for Toys in Maricopa is happening tomorrow and begins at 9 a.m. The event, hosted at City Hall, is organized by the Professional Firefighters of Maricopa Local 4561 Union to help the less fortunate have a happy and safe holiday this year.
