Eric Boswell’s beautiful Christmas Carol “Little Donkey”, describing Mary’s journey to Bethlehem, is the inspiration for our latest Christmas card. The carol was written in 1959, and has been recorded by Gracie Fields, the Beverley Sisters, Vera Lynn and many others, and it’s a staple of children’s nativity plays and carol concerts in the UK. It’s perhaps not as well known in other countries, but maybe this card will change that!
In case you missed our last newsletter, we’ve also just released another new Christmas card, Feeding the Birds. This one is more the traditional Jacquie Lawson style, with a delightful little story about some hungry birds outside a cosy country cottage. And of course we have dozens of previously-released cards on our Christmas page, with a huge variety of styles, moods and themes. Why not take a browse through? – you may find that perfect card is already there.
Handy Tip! Don’t have email addresses for all your friends? No problem! Download our ecards app and share our cards easily using your phone’s Share options – Facebook, WhatsApp, Signal, text message, or whatever you like!
With best wishes,
Jacquie, Mike, Sally, Bev, John, Tom and the rest of the team.
