Did You Know a Turkey Can Jump Higher Than the Empire State Building?

View this email in your browser

It’s true. Buildings can’t jump.

This newsletter is going to be a little shorter than most, as we settle into cruise control before the long holiday weekend. But amid all the turkey and family and football and sales, sometimes it’s easy to lose sight that Thanksgiving is about giving thanks.

We want to take a step back, reflect, and give thanks. This has been nothing short of a life-changing year for everyone on the Loupe team. When we started, Loupe was just an app for buying sports cards. Now it’s something much bigger. We never imagined that Loupe would end up as a place where some of the most passionate and positive people in the hobby would gather.

To everyone who buys on Loupe and to everyone who sells on Loupe, to everyone in chat gassing up all the big hits, to all our incredible partners we’ve teamed up with this year, to everyone on social media helping get our name out there, to everyone we’ve met at conventions and made friends with, and to anyone we forgot to mention — THANK YOU! You’re literally making our dreams come true, and we mean that wholeheartedly.

Thanksgiving is Better on Loupe 🦃

Just because it’s the holidays doesn’t mean our sellers are taking time off. We’ve got events lined up all week long so that you can always sneak in a quick rip in between slices of pie. Here’s what’s going on this week:

Thankful for All These Hits 🔥

Rarely am I left speechless, but y’all WENT OFF this week. Let’s get to the cream of the crop from this week on Loupe.

Susie Sports casually hit FOUR legendary one-of-ones out of Topps Archives Signature Series this week — Alex RodriguezRandy JohnsonCal Ripken Jr., and IchiroCasa found a hand-numbered one-of-one wood mini of legend Brooks Robinson from Allen & Ginter. Monster Breakspulled a one-of-one of a legend in the making with this disgusting three-patch Ronald Acuna Jr. booklet out of Triple Threads.

You know we’re no stranger to sick inserts. Ryno Rips pulled a Joe Namath KaboomRy$ hit a Najee Harris Kaboom, and Coach Chris nailed a Trey Lance gold Kaboom /10. The parallels were poppin’ too as Courtside hit an Obi Toppin zebra print out of Select, and Ry$ pulled a Justin Herbert green /5out of Select.

Elsewhere, Gem City got chunky with incredible Trey Lance and Zack Wilson RPA booklets out of National Treasures Collegiate Football. Ecto hit a 9-way relic booklet in National Treasures of some of the best names in all of baseball. Ecto also pulled a Boba Fett auto (I didn’t know he signed.) Crackin’ Wax threw it back to the old school with a Pedro Martinez auto /5 from Five Star.

Back to the one-of-one parade. Ry$ pulled a one-of-one Derek Carr auto from Flawless. Hit Seekerspulled out the boomstick with this Vladdy Guerrero Jr. one-of-one from Triple Threads. Triple Crowngot precious with a one-of-one Precious Achiuwa Rated Rookie auto. Last, maybe the coolest card ever pulled on Loupe: BaileyJoe pulled a one-of-one Honus Wagner Flying Dutchman cut signatureout of Triple Threads. Wow!

Okay, we lied. This wasn’t short at all. Too many hits and too many events. Not bad problems to have.

We hope you have a safe, happy, and healthy Thanksgiving weekend. Kick back and relax. You’ve earned it.
