+ PROMOTE YOUR EVENT  Good afternoon RJ and happy Friday,

Halloween is this Sunday, and some spooky events featuring ghosts and goblins will be returning to our County this weekend.

The Coolidge Parks and Recreation gym will be filled with frightful sights Saturday and Sunday evenings. For those who prefer their Halloween on the less scary side, there’s also a carnival planned at the Kenilworth Sports Complex. For more fun Halloween activities throughout the county, see the full list below.

Also happening in Pinal this weekend, a Day of the Dead celebration: The Pinal County Historical Museum will host a Día de Los Muertos Storytelling Festival on Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. The festival will include storytelling, music, dancing, food and activities for the whole family, including making personal ofrendas (altars) and masks.

Plan ahead: We’ve compiled a list of a few upcoming local events happening within the next couple of weeks so you can be prepared. For even more fun activities, see our Meetings and Events listing.
