Halloween is this Sunday, and some spooky events featuring ghosts and goblins will be returning to our County this weekend.
The Coolidge Parks and Recreation gym will be filled with frightful sights Saturday and Sunday evenings. For those who prefer their Halloween on the less scary side, there’s also a carnival planned at the Kenilworth Sports Complex. Also happening in Pinal this weekend, a Day of the Dead celebration: The Pinal County Historical Museum will host a Día de Los Muertos Storytelling Festival on Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. The festival will include storytelling, music, dancing, food and activities for the whole family, including making personal ofrendas (altars) and masks.

- The fifth annual Copa Shorts Film Fest is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 6-7.This is the second year the festival, which features dozens of films from around the world, will be hosted virtually.
- Robson Ranch is planning its annual arts and crafts fair on Nov. 13.
- The Casa Grande Arts Council is planning a self-guided Yartsy garden tour on Nov. 13.Participants have been encouraged to see their backyard as a canvas.
