The best baseball card of all time

View this email in your browser

Meet the new boss, same as the old boss. The MLB’s Top of the Pack Presented by Loupe has crowned a king. Unsurprisingly, it’s a card you’ll all recognize.

The 1909 T206 Honus Wagner barely edged out Hank Aaron’s ‘57 Topps card as the best baseball card of all-time. The final tally saw the T206 gather 53 percent of the votes, meaning it was close right up until the end. Mike Trout and Ken Griffey Jr’s rookie cards rounded out the final four.

The Honus T206 sold for a mindblowing $6.606M at auction in August, making it the most expensive sports card sale ever. So, now it holds two prestigious titles. The king is still the king for good reason.

Special promo if you’re in the Miami area

For weeks now, we’ve been telling you all about our new flagship store in Miami. Well, we have a special promotion that might make you want to come check it out.

Show up at Loupe Sports Cards in Wynwood with the Loupe app downloaded on your phone, and you’ll get a 10% discount on wax and slabs in store. No limitations. Buy as much as you want, any product, and as often as you want. What other LCS is running deals like that?!

Weather is cooling down, rips are heating up

We stay hot. We’re on a heater 7 days a week, 12 months a year. Imagine going on a cold streak. Not us, we couldn’t fathom it. Loupe: Always Hot 🔥.

Skeptical? Check out this Steve Young and Joe Montana dual auto booklet that Gem City pulled out of 2015 Donruss Signature Series. Susie Sports found an Erling Haaland red refractor /5 in a box of Topps Stadium Club Chrome. Hit n Run submitted a group shot, but we love that CeeDee Lamb Downtown out of Donruss Optic. Foreshadowing!

You’re not seeing double, Courtside really pulled two Pablo Abreu 1st Bowman orange parallel autos /25 from Bowman Chrome. Casa threw it back to the mid-’90s with this sick Mike Trout SSP out of Topps Finest. Lastly, our favorite hit of the week has to be this Trevor Lawrence Downtown that Ry$ pulled from Donruss. What a great design.

Events on the Horizon

It’s October, we couldn’t resist shoehorning in a horror movie reference. Here’s what you should have on your radar this week:

We’re fully energized and ready to tackle this behemoth of a week. We hope you are too. Big hits, big events, and some real big announcements in the very near future. We appreciate that you’re along for the ride. We’ll see you in the streams, fellow Louper.
