D-backs InsiderSeptember 23, 2021View OnlineTomorrow is the kickoff of Los D-backs’ 23rd Annual Hispanic Heritage Weekend presented by Michelob Ultra Pure Gold! We’ll host the rival Los Angeles Dodgers for a weekend series as we celebrate Latino fans and players. Los D-backs will wear the Nike MLB City Connect Series “Serpientes” uniforms as a tribute to the Hispanic culture so prominent in Arizona.
This weekend’s festivities will include Latin music, Mariachi, Folklorico, Banda, pregame recognitions for various Hispanic leaders and representatives, and more.

This year’s award recipient is David Adame, President and CEO of Chicanos Por La Causa, Inc. Adame will be recognized on field before the game this Sunday, September 26.
Chicanos Por La Causa provides accessible healthcare, affordable housing, a quality education, access to meaningful work and political representation for the Latino and Spanish-speaking population. Adame’s philosophy leading Chicanos Por La Causa is to continue to empower the Hispanic communities, regardless of the situation.
