As a guardian of the AWLA galaxy, you ensure that shelter pets like Dunkin, Della, and Kismik, PLUS pets and people in the community, get the life-saving care and resources they need to survive and thrive!
- $5 feeds a shelter pet for one day
- $10 microchips a pet
- $25 covers an animal’s care for one day
- $75 gives training and enrichment to dogs at the shelter
- $100 ensures pets get spay or neuter surgery before adoption
- $250 provides specialty care for a pet in need

As an AWLA Hero from Home, you have an all-access pass to join AWLA for in-person meet-ups leading up to the Walk on September 12th! These casual hangouts are to gather together, get some fresh air, exercise, and (of course) chat about all things animals.
- Join Chelsea for a family-friendly rollerskating sesh on Saturday, July 17 at Jones Point Park at 7:00 p.m.
- Hang out with Hollie at Ford Ward Park on Wednesday, July 28 at 7:00 p.m. for a dog-friendly walk and talk.
Join us for one or both (no need to RSVP!) or organize a meet-up of your own — maybe a Yappy Hour or even a kitten cuddle is more your style — but don’t worry, we’ll let you know when we put more on the calendar!
