Did you know that June 24th is Cat World Domination Day?
As an offering to our feline overlords, AWLA is hosting an adoption event with Name-Your-Price adoption fees on all adult cats (6+ months) from Friday, June 25th thru Sunday, June 27th!
How will cats take over the world, you ask? Here’s what to look out for:
- Osmosis: if your cat likes to sleep on your computer keyboard or a book, you might think this is a purely innocent tactic to get attention but they’re just absorbing all our human knowledge to outsmart us!
- Mind Control: they use the power of their purrs to lull you into a false sense of security.
- Hypnosis: be aware of that adorable stare – that’s how they Jedi-mind-trick you into giving them more snacks!
- Paralysis: you’ll feel special when they hop into your lap for a cuddle, but really they’re keeping you stuck in one spot while their fellow felines begin the takeover.
You can help our cats succeed in their world domination mission by making one (or two) of them the ruler of your home!
