It’s heating up and so are the weekend matchups! Chase Field is the place to be this weekend for the Dodgers vs. D-backs series. D-backs players will wear the new Serpientes jerseysthis Friday and special Father’s Day patches and wristbands on Sunday for prostate cancer awareness. Saturday’s game starts at 7:10PM, and this Sunday is Father’s Day. The first 15,000 dads to Sunday’s 1:10PM game will take home a Hawaiian Shirt, courtesy of Tyson Foods.

Join the D-backs in celebrating Juneteenth – the oldest nationally celebrated holiday that commemorates the ending of slavery, also known as Black Independence Day. In observance of Juneteenth, this Friday is a company holiday for the D-backs and all employees will use this day for education, reflection and celebration.
This Saturday, the Arizona Diamondbacks Black Professionals & Allies employee resource group will host an RBI clinic with Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, offering a free youth clinic in efforts to increase participation and interest in baseball and softball among underserved youth. The clinic will include former D-backs pitcher Stephen Randolph as well as several current Minor League players as instructors.
Pilgrim Rest will join the D-backs on Saturday evening at Chase Field for a celebration featuring pregame recognitions for community leaders and organizations, including a performance of “Lift Every Voice and Sing” and first pitch thrown by Reverend Dr. Terry E. Mackey, Buddy Strong of Dave Matthews Band will catch.
Chase Field will feature a special food item this Saturday — an authentic Fried Apple Pie recipe of Edna Lewis, a pioneer African American chef who was the first African American woman from the South to publish a cookbook that did not hide her name, gender or race. This limited dessert item will be available at Taste of Chase (near section 130) and Red Hot (near section 322).
