Right now, a handful of Arizona lawmakers are conducting a doomed and desperate effort to reexamine our votes in the 2020 election.
The truth is, any effort to change the outcome of the 2020 election and undermine confidence in our elections is a desperate and doomed attempt to cling on to power.
After an initial count and official recounts, state election officials and Congress certified the results of the elections months ago. It’s time to demand your lawmakers end the so-called “audit” NOW.
Lawmakers in Arizona are using this sham as a pretext for pushing bills through that would put up more barriers to voting in Arizona. These bills are just some of the hundreds of bills across the country introduced to create more deliberate barriers to voting for Black, Brown, young, and new Americans.
Tell your lawmakers the people have spoken. We choose our leaders; politicians do not choose their voters. To move forward as a nation, lawmakers must end this sham and focus on what really matters: ensuring the freedom to vote for every Arizonian.
