Biden’s first 100 days. Pres. Biden delivered his first address to a joint session of Congress, highlighting what his administration has accomplished in the last 100 days, andoutlining his plans to “build America back better”. Ducey signs anti-abortion bill. Gov. Ducey signed a sweeping anti-abortion bill into law. Senate Bill 1457 criminalizes the doctor-patient relationship, and equates the rights of fetuses and embryos with full personhood, limiting the bodily autonomy of the person actually carrying the fetus in the first place, among other horrible provisions. Advocacy groups are looking into litigation against SB 1457, which is a clear attempt by Republicans to overturn Roe v. Wade.
