Dear AWLA Family,
Over the last two weeks, I have had the true honor of celebrating the incredible humans who care for the animals in the shelter and in the community every day: the Animal Care team, Animal Control Officers, and our wonderful volunteers.
From cleaning kennels and scrubbing dishes to fostering hundreds of animals and bottle-feeding kittens, and even scooping poop and transporting baby wildlife to rehabbers, they step up time and again to ensure that every animal (no matter how big or small) gets the love and care they deserve.
To our selfless volunteers who donate their time and energy, and to our staff whose love for the animals has no bounds — Thank You.
Your dedication and service to the entire AWLA community inspire us every day.
